DHS propaganda barrage
81% Border Patrol effectiveness is nonsense

DHS Goal: 19% of Those Detected Illegally Crossing Border into U.S. Will Get Away
One of the Department of Homeland Security's fiscal 2016 goals is for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to either apprehend or turn back 81 percent of the persons it detects illegally entering the United States between the ports of entry on the U.S.-Mexico border.
If DHS were to meet that goal, 19 percent of those CBP detects illegally entering the United States across the southwest border would evade apprehension and would not be turned back into Mexico.
An appendix to the “U.S. Department of Homeland Security Annual Performance Report” refers to an individual who is detected having illegally crossed the border into the United States but is neither apprehended nor turned back as a “gotaway.”
Last year, in fiscal 2015, according to the report, 81.01 percent of the “illegal entrants” CBP detected crossing the southwest border into the United States between the ports of entry were apprehended or turned back.
18.99 percent got away.

The Last Thing They Want
Thirteen years ago I began experimenting with seismic geophones to find a way to count how many people got past the US Border Patrol.
Six years ago I demonstrated a way to do this for members of the Arizona State Legislature.
Last year I was awarded a patent for the technology.
It is now called SEIDARM and it will do what is needed on the border, but the US Government isn't interested in it.
Why? Because it would provide an objective measure of border security --- and that is the last thing they want.
And, it is the last thing Fox News wants you to know about.
