The big debate: Facing wall questions
How Trump should answer
The SEIDARM system can detect low flying aircraft and humans -- before they even reach the border.
Glenn Spencer -- American Border Patrol
Hypothetical Debate Question
SEIDARM -- Seismic Detection and Ranging Mechanism -- could be installed on the "Roosevelt Reservation" -- a 60-ft strip of land along the border owned by the U.S. -- in 60 days. SEIDARM is buried and solar powered. It misses nothing and costs a lot less than a fence.
Hypothetical First Presidential Debate: Monday, September 26, 2016 --- (Everything Trump says is absolutely doable.)
Mr. Trump you say you will build a wall along the border with Mexico, but it will be only half the length of the border. What about the other 1,000 miles?
I will build that wall, and Mexico will pay for it.
Look, if we can find a microbe under a rock on Mars, we can certainly spot people crossing the border.
Within ninety days of my inauguration as president, I will be able to go to the Situation Room in the White House and look and see exactly where our border is being crossed illegally --- anywhere on the border --- in real time.
If I see people crossing the border illegally, I can call the local commander of the Border Patrol and ask him if the people were stopped. If he says no, I will ask what he needs to do his job --- and I will get it for him
I can also see how well the wall is doing as it goes in --- and it's going to be terrific!
