Debate looms over Trump's "Wall"
Do opponents know what they're in for?

Trump's wall is a 2,000-mile fraud
Donald Trump has served one-seventh of his constitutionally allotted term of office, and given his talent for self-destruction, there is no guarantee he will get to serve the remaining six-sevenths. But whether he does or not, one thing is a safe bet: When he leaves the White House, there will not be a wall running the length of our southern border.
This may come as a shock to his more devoted followers. They cheered madly, and still cheer madly, at his promises to build a wall that Mexico will pay for. “Believe me, one way or the other, we're going to get that wall,” he told a rally in Phoenix on Tuesday --- even “if we have to close down our government.”
Between now and the end of September, Congress needs to pass legislation to raise the federal debt ceiling and extend funding to keep the government operating. Trump's threat is to veto any such bill unless it features money for the wall.

American BorderPatrol Opinion -- August 26, 2017
Let the debate begin
In the past two years Barack Obama's Customs and Border Protection spent nearly $500 million on a border security system that was designed - not to stop people from crossing the border --- but to chase them after they did. It would have been much cheaper to prevent them from crossing in the first place, but Obama's Wall wasn't designed to do that. This will really make the American people mad --- when they hear about it.
The Bush and Obama administrations built less than 40 miles of the 700 mile double-layered fence promised by the Secure Fence Act of 2006. As shown in Operation BEEF photos, the pitiful effort to secure our border left vast stretches unprotected and, in some cases, wide-open.
The mainstream media have refused to report the truth about the border, but that will not keep the Trump team from trotting out some very embarrassing facts during the coming debate over the Trump ‘'Wall'.
A lot of politicians are going to be blindsided by facts the mainstream media have kept from the people.
Too bad, but let the debate begin anyway.
