A Siren's call -- from the swamp?

Siren: any of a group of female and partly human creatures in Greek mythology that lured mariners to destruction by their singing.

Rep. Martha McSally joins GOP group working on border security, DACA
U.S. Rep. Martha McSally, R-Arizona, has been asked to join an informal group of Republican congressional members working on border-security issues and a long-term fix to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, her office says.
McSally was asked by Speaker of the House Paul Ryan to join the group, as the Tucson Republican is the chairwoman of the Border and Maritime Security subcommittee and whose district includes 80 miles of U.S.-Mexico border, according to a news release from her office.

Ignore the advice of Martha McSally
Paul Ryan wants Martha McSally's help with President Trump's DACA program. God help us.
    From Breitbart -- Oct. 11, 2015
As Bloomberg's John Heilemann reported in 1996, “[Ryan's] ties to the pro-immigration mafia ran deep. A protégé of [Cesar] Conda and an ally of [Rick] Swartz [founder of the pro-amnesty National Immigration Forum], Ryan was the staffer who had aided Jack Kemp and William Bennett in their crusade against [California's] Proposition 187.”
The killing of Proposition 187 --- and California --- was done via direct interference in our political system by the Mexican government.
Paul Ryan helped Mexico steal California from America.
Now Speaker Ryan is asking Rep. Martha McSally to help lead on border issues in the DACA debate. As I have stated a numbers of times, McSally is the last person who should be advising President Trump on border security issues. Her work as chairwoman of the Border and Maritime Security subcommittee is an embarrassment.
During a May 24, 2016, hearing of her subcommittee, chairwoman McSally observed: "But as far as I can tell, the only procurement that is working well and on budget is the Integrated Fixed Tower program, located principally in my district...."
To the best of my knowledge, sixteen of those towers --- costing $300 million --- sit idle pending testing that was not properly done to begin with --- and they have for five months.
These towers are part of what I call Obama's Wall --- a border security system installed under suspicious circumstances, --- while chairwoman McSally looked on --- that can only be described as insane.
I live in McSally's district --- and have for fifteen years. Stories of my border work have appeared many times in her local Sierra Vista Herald, including my invention of SEIDARM --- a border security system.
For the past 30 months McSally has refused to look at my technology --- or even speak with me, despite the fact that SEIDARM might bring well-paying jobs to her district.
The American people know there is something seriously wrong with the failure of congress to secure the border. One need look no further than Martha McSally to see a perfect example of why this is so.
President Trump should ignore the advice of Martha McSally.
