Michelle Malkin on What She Wants to See From Trump in 2018: 'The Wall, the Wall, the Wall'
President Donald Trump predicted that 2018 will be a "fantastic" year, and Michelle Malkin wants to see his administration make constructing a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border a top priority.
Malkin, a political commentator and CRTV host, said on "Fox & Friends" on Monday that Trump is aware of the obstacles he will face from Congress and the establishment in both parties as he looks to enact his agenda in 2018.
She pointed out that there is now a strong push in Congress for a fix for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which provides a level of amnesty to certain undocumented immigrants, many of whom came to the U.S. as children.

A Battle Royale
Congress returns to work on January 8, 2018. During the ensuing ten days there will be a struggle over the budget and what to do about illegal immigration.
For the first time in twenty-five years that we have president who will fight for America's right to defend its borders and enforce its immigration laws.
In early 1998, President Clinton awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Mario Obledo, co-founder of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund --- a group that fights all attempts to secure the border.
Speaking at a commencement ceremony at Portland State University on June 13, Clinton said, "But mark my words, unless we handle this well, immigration of this sweep and scope could threaten the bonds of our Union."
Three days later, on June 16, 1998, Mario Obledo went on a Los Angeles Radio show and agreed that he had said that California is going to be a Hispanic State and Anyone who doesn't like it should leave.
Today, thanks to Bill Clinton, California is now a Hispanic state and immigration is “threatening the bonds of our union."
President George W. Bush signed the Secure Fence Act of 2006. As proven by American Border Patrol, it was a sham intended to pave the way for the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2007.
Thanks to Senator Elizabeth Dole, who used ABP's Operation BEEF data during the debate, George W. Bush's amnesty bill was defeated.
Space does not permit a delineation of the degree to which Barack Obama went about to erase our borders and end immigration law enforcement --- except to say that DACA was just one of a long list of outrages.
President Trump has ten days to reverse twenty-five years of misguided presidential policies that we might call mistakes, but in some cases would best be described as anti-American and subversive.
Not only does the president have to reverse a nation set on the wrong course by those presidents, he has to fight a leftists media who are determined to keep us on that course --- and even some really stupid Republicans.
Let us hope that Donald Trump alone remains standing after this Battle Royale.
