Connected to a murderer?
NY Times — December 10, 2017
President Trump on Saturday called for a Washington Post reporter to be fired over a misleading tweet about the size of the crowd at a rally for the president on Friday in Pensacola, Fla.

Post reporter linked to group that harbored murder suspect?
A 2015 story in the Washington Post, written by Dave Weigel, about me, Donald Trump, and an airplane, included this:
He’s home-brewed border technology even as he’s had to explain away why a Minuteman activist-turned-murder suspect, Shawna Forde, wound up on his property. (“I still don’t know why Shawna Forde suddenly appeared at my front door, but I am sorry she did,” he wrote in 2009.)
Maybe Post reporter Weigel should explain how he “wound up” on my property in 2013 — two years after Shawna Forde was convicted of murder.
Not only that — he spent a weekend in my guest house before writing an extensive story in Slate that described technology invented by Mike King and I.
Nowhere in Slate does Weigel mention Shawna Forde. Was he trying to hide something?
Just as it was unfair for Dave Weigel to link me to Shawna Forde in the Post story, it would be unfair for me to suggest that he spent the weekend on my ranch, knowing full-well that I was connected to a convicted murderer.
As I reported yesterday, the Washington Post and Dave Weigel tried to link me to Shawna Forde to hurt Donald Trump — there was no other reason.
